Headlight Delivery Texts: Terms

These terms apply to the Headlight Delivery Texts program ("Delivery Texts"), run by Headlight Solutions, LLC ("Headlight", "we", "us"). Headlight provides transportation management software that shippers and carriers (each a "Shipper") use to plan and dispatch deliveries.
WHAT DELIVERY TEXTS ARE
Delivery Texts are automated status updates from Headlight about deliveries and pickups. You receive them only if you sign up directly with Headlight. Each text starts with "Headlight:" and names the Shipper the delivery is from. Texts tell you that a delivery or pickup has been:

• scheduled, including the scheduled date;
• dispatched, with the driver on the way;
• delayed, because the driver was redirected to another stop first (you'll get another text when they're on the way again);
• arrived;
• completed; or
• cancelled.

Texts may include a link to a live tracking page on our platform domain, buildmyloads.com. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
HOW YOU SIGN UP
You sign up on your delivery's Headlight tracking page. Delivery emails from Headlight link to this page and remind you that you can sign up there. Near the top of the page is a "Get text updates" sign-up; it also opens by itself the first time you visit.

To sign up, choose the mobile number on file for your delivery address (shown by its last four digits) or enter a different number, tick the box to agree to receive automated delivery status texts, and tap "Text me updates". Only sign up a mobile number that you own or are authorized to use.

Your sign-up covers deliveries from the Shipper named on the sign-up form to that delivery address. We send a confirmation text right after you sign up. Signing up is optional and is not a condition of any purchase.
MESSAGE FREQUENCY
Message frequency varies. We text you as each delivery or pickup progresses, for example when it is scheduled, on its way, delayed, arrived, and completed. We also send one confirmation text when you sign up.
COSTS
Message and data rates may apply. Headlight and the Shipper do not charge you for Delivery Texts.
HOW TO STOP
Reply STOP to any Delivery Text to stop receiving them. We will send one confirmation, then no further texts. To start again, reply START.
HELP
Reply HELP to any Delivery Text, or email contact@headlightsolutions.com (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Mountain Time). For questions about an order, contact the Shipper named in the text.
SUPPORTED COUNTRIES
Delivery Texts are available for mobile numbers in the United States and Canada. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Please don't rely on texts alone for time-critical information.
PRIVACY
We do not sell your mobile number or sign-up information, and we do not share it with the Shipper or anyone else for marketing. Service providers that operate Delivery Texts for us, such as our text messaging provider, process it only to deliver messages. See our Privacy Policy for details, including how to ask us to delete your information.
CHANGES
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with its effective date.
